We’re pleased to announce the release of Datamartist beta 2, which is officially release candidate 1. The big enhancements in terms of new functionality are in the data import functionality. Datamartist now manages all of its input data sources within a data source repository- that allows configuration of multiple database connections and files as data sources. It gives the user much more flexibility, and because it supports ODBC, as well as native connectivity to SQL Server, MS Access, and of course delimited text files, it is possible to pull data from a very wide range of sources. Rest assured that we’ll be adding more native connectors in the future.

Of course this is also a bug fix release- thank you very much to all our beta testers who reported issues. Keep the feedback coming, and don’t forget the most active beta testers will get a free license of V1.0.
